Richard Wright (28 July 1943 – 15 September 2008)

A sad day for Pink Floyd fans.  Keyboardist and founding member Richard Wright died today at the age of 65.  He succumbed to his battle with cancer at his home in England earlier today.  He was the driving force behind many of their songs and enjoyed writing compositions that were long where he could explore the space of the song.  He’ll certainly be missed.
