That Crazy Dow
Posted in Random Rambling on 09/30/2008 04:56 pm by JamesSo after falling some 777 points yesterday the Dow is back up today. What a roller-coaster. Had I not been such a pansy yesterday I would have invested some of the extra money I have into some stocks since I think crazy worried people made a lot of them sink way too low. I know Apple was down to $100 last week and while they may not be the best investment they are a company that I think have no where to go but up even if they are down right now. By no means am I financial advisor so don’t go buying as much as you can but if you like to gamble I’d say go to Share Builder and pick up some shares.
CNN Money is reporting that the Dow is up 485 points today. While that may be short of 777 I hope that it continues tomorrow and that stocks continue to look up in after hours trading. It’s definitely an interesting time even if you only half heartedly follow the market like me.
Of course the best part about the past two days? I can say: DEAD CAT BOUNCE!
In other news oil is back up $4.27 today taking it back over $100 a barrel.
