It’s this time of year that makes me wonder about people who say the love the fall. I mean seriously? Go outside today and tell me how much you love it.

Don’t get me wrong. The beginning has it’s good times. When the leaves are starting to turn and it gets cold only to warm up again for a few days so you can wear your sandals with your jeans (no socks though please.). Now it’s just cold and gray.

Maybe that’s why all the smart people are inside and I’m outside at the dog park freezing my fingers off as I peck this out on my iPhone. Since me and Jenkins are the only ones here I get to play the part of the second dog, chasing him around while he hoards tennis balls. Otherwise he just stands there and stares at me like “now what?” All the while I’m telling him to go run and jump and play.

So I’ve come to the conclusion that A. November might be my least favorite month and B. I need a pair of gloves and one of those hats that cover your whole face.
